WHO HUNTER IS FOR

You’re doing everything right. So why don’t you feel like it?

You’re in the gym. You’re eating decent. You’re not 25 anymore, but you’re not old either.

Still, something’s off. The energy isn’t there. Recovery takes longer than it used to. The gut fat won’t move no matter what you do. Your joints bark at you after a hard week. You feel like you’re pushing through mud.

Most doctors will run a basic panel, tell you everything looks “normal,” and send you home.

Hunter doesn’t do that.

He looks at the full picture — your hormones, your body composition, your training, your nutrition, your recovery — and builds a plan that actually addresses why you feel the way you feel.

WHAT HUNTER TREATS

What Hunter specializes in

Hormone Optimization for Men Fatigue, low drive, brain fog, body fat that won’t budge, poor sleep, mood that’s just… flat. These are often hormone problems. Hunter evaluates full male hormone panels and creates personalized treatment plans — including testosterone pellet therapy (BHRT/TRT), when appropriate.

Performance Peptides Hunter uses peptide therapy to support fat loss, muscle preservation, recovery, tissue repair, and performance — and he actually explains what each one does and why you need it.

Sports Medicine Injections Knee, shoulder, hip, back. Orthovisc, Monovisc (hyaluronic acid joint injections), trigger point injections, and steroid injections for acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Skip the 6-month PT waitlist — Hunter can assess and treat in one visit.

Body Composition & Weight Loss Not just scale weight — actual fat loss while preserving or building muscle. Hunter brings a personal trainer’s eye and a PA’s clinical tools together. GLP-1 medications (semaglutide, tirzepatide), peptides, nutrition protocols, and workout programming, all under one roof.

Nutrition & Workout Planning As a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Specialist, Hunter builds actual plans — not generic handouts. If your goal is performance, body recomp, or long-term health, he builds around your life.

ABOUT HUNTER

Hunter Powell, PA-C earned his degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M and his PA training from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Before practicing medicine, he worked as a certified personal trainer and built a deep foundation in exercise science, nutrition, and human performance.

He brings that background into every patient visit — because understanding how a body is supposed to perform is just as important as diagnosing why it isn’t.

Outside the clinic, Hunter competes in endurance races and snow sports, and spends his downtime with his wife Delaney and their golden retriever Rowdy. He gets it. He lives it.

FAQ

Is this only for older men?
No. Hunter sees men from their late 20s through their 60s. Hormone dysfunction and musculoskeletal issues don’t check your age before showing up.

Do I need a referral?
No referral needed. Book directly online.

What should I bring to my first visit?
Any recent lab work, a list of current medications or supplements, and your health goals. We’ll take it from there.

Can I do peptide therapy and hormone optimization at the same time?
Often, yes. Many of Hunter’s patients combine approaches. He’ll assess what makes sense for your specific situation.

Do you accept insurance?
We are a cash-pay clinic. This allows us to spend more time with you, run the labs that actually matter, and give you care that isn’t dictated by insurance billing codes.
